Writing Prompt - Flaming June

In theory, this should be flaming June. Given the weather recently, you may like to add a few more expletives of your own. And, of course, we should also be on the look out for June brides this month.
I had a quick trawl for other 'month' sayings but I'm sure you can come up with more than these.

Mad March hares
March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb
April showers
Ne'er cast a clout till May is out (Yes I know it's the flower but lots of people are confused.)
May to September marriage (Do you remember the very successful TV series about the older man with a younger wife? How about turning it around? - Demi Moore, Joan Collins and Barbara Windsor all have much younger men.)

And Thomas Hood (1799 - 1845) summed up November very well.

No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member,
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds - No-vember.

What about months that don't live up to expectations? February should be full of romance, July is for hot holiday destinations, December filled with excitement for Christmas - what if they're not?
Check out this website for some more ideas.

Could a month inspire you to write?
